Victims of Unconscious Choices
Dear Friend,
Not only can you trust your Heart, but when you do, it supplies you with the fuel and the fire you need to make it all the way home.
First of all, when you feel the commitment of your Heart’s longing in your whole body as a big Yes, your tank is full. You fill up your tank with the feeling of your commitment to your Heart, so you won’t run dry along the way.
Secondly, your commitment is also the fire you need to burn through any obstacles along the way.
That means that you basically don’t need anything else. You’ve got a full tank and the ‘obstacle remover’ all in one package! What can possibly stop you now?
If you still have doubt and fear that you might bail out half way through, don’t despair. You have all the time you need to re-evaluate your commitment and feel if it is still what you want the most. Is it still #1 on your priority list? If yes… feel that. Take your time to feel it in your body and let yourself be recharged with a full tank … and you are on your way again. As long as it is #1 on your list, nothing can stop you. If you realize that there are other things that have moved up to the top of the list since your original commitment, please don’t despair. You have just changed your priority for the moment and are more interested in something else now. You always have the freedom to follow what you want the most. It is a good idea to re-evaluate your priority list from time to time and see if you might have slipped back into unconscious patterns, where safety looks more attractive than freedom. No blame. No judgment. It is all in your own hands and you can choose what you want at any time, and change it at any time. Talk about free will!
So you see, it always comes back to your conscious choices. You are never a victim of your conscious choices. We are all victims of our unconscious choices. This is why we need to keep checking in with ourselves and see what is on top of the list: conscious or unconscious? When you for instance realize that safety has sneaked up ‘behind your back’ and made it to the top again, you can do some inquiry into this part of you. I won’t go into that in this blog, but it is important to realize that there are times when we all need some help to get out of the grip of old patterns that keep pulling us back in. It means it needs more than just a re-evaluation. We’ll get into that in a later post.
For now, make sure your tank is full and stays full, and if you run into an obstacle that makes you turn back, it means your tank has leaked and is not full anymore. It may need a little repair…
ALL Love,
Pernilla
