Be Still And Know…

 I am giving Thanks for the wonders that Life gives us in the midst of a world that seems to have gone mad. I know it is easy to focus on the drama that is going on in the world and get lost in it.

Be Still and Know…  is one of my favorite quotes from the bible and one that I live by and rest in a lot. The importance of Being Still can only be experienced by Being it. It is not the same as being Still. Stillness is a state of Being – not an activity.

Let’s Be Still… 

Let’s spend more time Being Still during this time of Thanksgiving and let the Stillness inform us of what Is Present right now, if we can only be Still long enough to ‘catch it.’ And how does this Stillness move in the outer world, if we can only be Still long enough to follow it.We’ve talked a lot about Listening the past few weeks, listening to our Self, to others, to our needs, to our Yes and to our No. Today, let’s listen to the Stillness that thunders loudly inside, underneath and alongside everything we do.
