Dear Friend,
“What are you grateful for?”
This question is still alive and well.
We have a great restaurant in town called Cafe Gratitude and they used to ask this question: “What are you grateful for?” when they take your order. That topic always feels like a healthy dose of enzymes for digesting your meal. Eating with a sense of gratitude, or contemplating it, is not only good for your health, but for every area in life. What a great idea to add that to their meals – for free.
What soothes you?
The other day, they asked a different question: “What soothes you?”
My initial answer jumped right out: My cats! (I have 4 of them), and then we were inspired to explore what else feels soothing to us in life.
Ultimately, the only ‘thing’ that can ever really soothe you is your own Presence and how that wants to express itself in your life.
What soothes you and how can you allow more of that into your life?
Doing what I love and following my Heart soothes me more than anything. And when I allow myself to feel soothed from within, I feel grateful for many things in my life. Allow me to share a few current ones here and give you the opportunity to consider your gratitude list and ‘soothing list’ at the end of 2012.
