The World has Changed

After last Thursday the world has changed. One Billion Rising brought awareness to women abuse all over the world and how it is still accepted as normal in many countries, even here in the US.
The most touching part about the One Billion Rising Event was that Women were not blaming, accusing and expressing anger. We danced, sang and shared our Love.
Bringing awareness to this problem is essential – taking action is our next step.

Video Of Our First Gathering

This same week we had our first Women Standing For Love Gathering with 42 amazing Women showing up who all want to Be the change we know is possible.
It was deeply touching for all of us. At this Gathering I first shared what inspired me to gather Women together and afterwards many Women shared their Heart, their Vision, their Concern and what they need to bring their Vision into the world. All the way from creating groups to meditate to help raise consciousness in specific areas/problems in our community, to helping abused women get the surgeries they need to have normal functioning sexual and excretory organs again, to bringing compassion to those making their transition without family around. And everything in between.
This was just the first Gathering of many more to come. We all realize that we need to work as One to make this happen.

Inspired Loving Action

My Vision and Feeling of what is possible is growing daily since this Gathering, as it is for those who attended. Inspiring each other into loving action is powerful!
We CAN make this happen. I Know it – I Feel it.
It is essential that we get together and share our Wisdom and meet in smaller or larger groups and choose one or two areas in our community or in the bigger world to put our attention. There are no ‘they’ out there who will do it. Only you and I can make it happen!
If we don’t, the sex trafficking, the rapes in India, the homeless people in your community, the unconscious consumerism, the ….. you name it, will continue.
And yes, it is a lot to face. I do understand it is easier to ignore it and mind our own spiritual practice. I have done it too, but now it is time for us to bring our Practice into the world, so everyOne will benefit.
So let’s not leave our spiritual practice and meditation cushion behind. It is essential that we stay connected with our Being and keep waking up to deeper levels of who we are. The Love we share with the world has to come from this deep place inside of us to be able to make lasting changes. Both are equally essential.
