Do you have the right to be fully, outrageously yourself? This poem says yes — and invites you to claim it too
Do I have the right
to be brilliant, bold and beautiful, delicious and delightful beyond belief
and be seen in my silky, soft sensuality, my seductive playfulness
as I let Life tune my instrument through body and soul
so tenderly, so intimately, that I cannot stop my Senses from waking up
from this thousand year slumber of separation and limitation where it was not safe to Be me?
Do I have the right
to Love without limitation and break all the rules
to unapologetically show my true body, being and beauty
and sing praises to my Soul as I overflow
with this uncorked Divine nectar of grace and joy?
Do I have the right
to Be so outrageously mySelf
without perfection, without protection
without holding mySelf back
so I can freely flow as life, sing and dance as creation
unaffected by anyone’s imagination, believing this is an invitation
for degrading behavior – on your behalf or mine?
Do I have the right
to excuse mySelf from this sense of separation,
and simply Be an example of someone who is HerSelf
while giving You permission to break out of your condition
and fly alongside of me following your intuition into the New World
beckoning us to enter with a loving invitation?
Yes! I have the right … and so do you
So strip off your good manners, uncloak your niceness, turn from the crowd
and enter the free Flowing stream that runs through your veins
guiding your every step of the way
