This poem came from sitting in that in-between place — waiting for something to happen, until I realized I already Am
I Am sitting at the portal
of my own divinity
waiting – receptive
patient – impatient
I know that Silence is the doorway
to enter in and out
allowing – open – present – expectant
expecting to give birth to my Christ nature
grateful – in awe – excited – ready
You coming out yet?
I am ready when you are!
What more can I do to prepare the way for You?
My Heart is bursting with anticipation
please come out
I am met with Silence
wondering if that is it?
There is no movement and no contraction
there is nothing more to do
Being
just Being
a deep breath
a silent sigh
a gentle shift
peace enters my Being
fills the open Space
the vacuum of ‘not doing’
of not grasping or trying so hard
simple yet unusual
the farthest thing from a mind
stopping
sitting
open
I Am the portal
I already Am
I Am
